The article illustrates the developments in the collectively agreed wages by the examples of the chemical sector, retail and civil services. The author notes that there has been a jurisprudential procedure which has resulted in judges considering a salary to have met the requirements outlined in the Constitution when it has been established in a national collective agreement stipulated by the most representative employer and trade union organisations.
