The agreement includes a 2.6% and 2.2% wage increase for all workers in the first and second year, to be followed by individual increases in the last two years. Trade union Vision said it hopes the individual wage increases will reduce inequalities in the pay structure. The collective agreement also includes a number of family friendly policies. Meanwhile, blue-collar local government unions have announced industrial action as their collective negotiations have so far failed. A 6.8% wage increase is being discussed.
