Public sector employees are protesting against the impeding loss of 2.5% of all salaries from €600 per month and 12% of salaries above €2000 per month. The 2014 budget furthermore includes higher taxes, higher contributions and lower pension payments. Unions are protesting against policies they say ‘rob workers and ruin the country’.
