The trade union Ver.di called on security workers at Hamburg airport to walk off the job. The union demand is an hourly wage of €14.50 and better working conditions. The federal association for safety BDSW offered €12.75 from March and then €13.50 from January 2013 – an offer that was rejected by trade union Ver.di.
