When French company Egis takes over at the beginning of 2014, over 200 airport workers stand to lose out directly. The National Bank estimates that privatisation will have an (in)direct effect on over 2300 workers. When the union members learnt about state plans to privatise regional airports in June 2013, they took initial action to ensure existing standards were maintained.
