One of the findings is that women earn about 10% lower than men. In 2010, the average annual gross earnings were 23,561 lei\u002Fperson (approximately €5,900 in 2010), with significant differences by gender (22,772 lei\u002Fperson for women compared to 24,264 lei\u002Fperson for men). The figures also provide evidence for inequalities in the earnings distribution.
