The increase would restore wages to the\r\nlevel earned before budget cuts in 2009, according to Liivamagi. He added that unions\r\nwill also demand that all public workers get their wages raised back to the\r\nlevels of 2008. The state’s budgetary strategy for 2012-2015, approved late\r\nApril by the government, prescribes zero growth in operating costs of state\r\ninstitutions for the next four years.
