The Myanmar decent wage survey: codebook and explanatory note

Abstract

The Decent Wage Myanmar project aimed to collect wage data for the creation of a level playing field in tripartite negotiations and consultations, in preparation of establishing new minimum wage levels in the country, which is scheduled to be concluded July 2020. The Myanmar Decent Wage Survey 2019 aimed to report in detail the wages earned by Myanmar workers, including the self-employed, in selected sectors and regions. The Codebook and Explanatory note summarize the survey and lists the variables, variable labels, values, and value labels in the dataset of the survey.
