It is based on WageIndicator data collected in 2008 and 2009.\u003C\u002Fstrong>\u003C\u002Fp>\n\u003Cp>Four options for employees are compared:\u003C\u002Fp>\n\u003Col>\u003Cli>employees being both trade union members and covered by collective agreement\u003C\u002Fli>\u003Cli>employees covered by collective bargaining but not being a union member\u003C\u002Fli>\u003Cli>employees being trade union members but not covered by collective bargaining\u003C\u002Fli>\u003Cli>employees not being trade union member and not covered by collective bargaining\u003C\u002Fli>\u003C\u002Fol>\n\u003Cp>The investigation shows that:\u003C\u002Fp>\n\u003Cul>\u003Cli>option 1 is the most common option among employees in Finland and Sweden.\u003C\u002Fli>\u003Cli>option 2 is most common in Italy, the Netherlands, Spain and Indonesia.\u003C\u002Fli>\u003Cli>option 3 is not very common in any of the 21 countries.\u003C\u002Fli>\u003Cli>option 4 is by far the most common option option in most Latin American countries, the Czech Republic and the UK.\u003C\u002Fli>\u003C\u002Ful>\n\u003Cp>You can find the exact figures for every country in the note.
