Een onderzoek waarin voor het eerst de loopbanen van bètaopgeleiden én niet-bètaopgeleiden gezamenlijk in kaart werden gebracht. Dit rapport presenteert een update van dat eerdere onderzoek, voor de periode 2009 tot begin 2010. In deze periode hebben ruim 18 duizend werknemers met een Mbo-, Hbo- en Wo-diploma de enquête (Bèta-)Loonwijzer ingevuld. Deze keer hebben veel meer Mbo’ers de vragenlijst ingevuld. Lonen en loopbanen van Mbo’ers kunnen daarom beter in kaart worden gebracht dan in de vorige monitor.\u003C\u002Fp>\n\u003Cp>Belangrijkste conclusies:\u003C\u002Fp>\n\u003Cul>\u003Cli>Bètaopgeleiden niet altijd in bètaberoepen.\u003C\u002Fli>\u003Cli>Bèta’s zijn honkvast: ze wisselen minder vaak van baan, maar zijn ook minder vaak werkloos.\u003C\u002Fli>\u003Cli>Verschillen in uurloon zijn gering: alleen op Mbo-niveau verdienen bèta’s gemiddeld meer dan niet-bèta’s.\u003C\u002Fli>\u003Cli>Bètaopgeleiden werken wel vaker voltijds en hebben vaker een vast contract.\u003C\u002Fli>\u003Cli>De ene bèta is echter de andere niet: grote verschillen tussen opleidingen en branches.\u003Cbr\u002F>\u003C\u002Fli>\u003C\u002Ful>\n\u003Cp>\u003Cstrong>ENGLISH\u003C\u002Fstrong>\u003Cbr\u002F>The Dutch Bèta-loopbaanmonitor 2008 (STEM Career Monitor 2008) was published in early 2009. For the first time careers of STEM and non-STEM graduates in the Netherlands were monitored together. The present study is an update of this earlier research, covering the period 2009 to early 2010. About 18 thousand employees having an intermediate vocational, higher vocational, or university diploma completed the (STEM) Wage Indicator survey. It is also an improvement on the earlier Monitor in that it includes the reports of many more intermediate vocational graduates.
